Luke Diablo-themed blackened melodeath. I don't know anything about Diablo. But I don't know anything about Lord of the Rings either, and it's nice to get something different. Fun and catchy with great guitar work. What you want from this kind of thing. $12 is too much for a digital album, gonna say it. But it's good, so I bought it. Waiting for someone to give me the Driv3r-themed album I deserve.

H.L. VOLCANDRA returns with a very strong and lively release. I would call it blackened melodic death metal as their songs spread positive energy and no evilness. Most of the songs are thrilling and rousing and contain several catchy guitar passages. "Birth of the Nephalem", "Maiden of Anguish" or "The Blackened Temple" are just three of the hits. A multi-faceted album worth checking out for all lovers of heavy atmospheric music! Favorite track: The Blackened Temple .

sashavonkarl74 Melodic BM or blackened DM as you wish to call their style, Volcandra is an American band that has been around for 5 years or so, and quite prolific, having released an EP and two full-length albums, of which "The Way of Ancients" is their very recent release. It's virtuoso MBM style is reminiscent of Dark Throne at times, but also going a lot more melodic, more atmospheric such as Finnish ABM acts, and of course perfecting their own art, with a very solid and excellent new album !!! Favorite track: Nemesis Confession .
